Dota 2 Update - MAIN CLIENT - November 3, 2015News (self.DotA2)

A new update has been dispatched for the main client. More info will be edited in as I analyze the patch.

Official Changelog

  • Spectator gems increment when spectating games.
  • Fixed a crash when spectating or watching replays of tournament games.
  • Elder Titan's Astral Spirit is no longer box-selectable while not summoned.
  • Fixed Ember Spirit's Fire Remnant rarely creating the remnant visual effect in the wrong place.
  • Fixed drag+drop of multiple selected items in the Collection tab of the armory.
  • Fixed leaderboards not being updated.
  • Fixed a bug where players who clicked the "leave game" button after timing out would not properly be treated as abandoning the match.
  • Fixed Invoker's Heaven Piercing Pauldrons.

Haunted Colosseum Updates

  • Fixed Phase Shift not dodging Pendulum.
  • Omni Slash no longer bounces to Behemoths.

Me and a buddy played venge plus et and the amount of damage you output between astral and aura was nuts early on.

Yeah -armor strats are legit. My favorite teammate is LC. If an ally wants Legion I instapick ET. Her duel sets up a stomp and/or rift, and the aura means folks melt fast to her right clicks.

Gotta try that. I usually picked stuff like Lina/Leshrac/Bane/CM - basically guys that channel/need a delay for a good setup - when an ally picks LC. I wonder how missed thinking of ET.

Yeah channelers are great too. ET and LC can also dual lane together pretty well. Even though they're both melee they each have an AoE nuke WHICH INCREASES THEIR MOVESPEED. Really really scary.

He's a monster when your team can be patient and wait for a good initiation.

When they dive in and the enemy has bkbs up and you all are global silenced, he's not good.

Of course he is. Icey tend to make new hero op to stimulate people to play him. Next patch he will be nerfed to the ground.

ET? Hah he's still at the bottom of the pub and pro charts, there's no way he gets nerfed in his current state. He can be strong in pubs (and has a 50% winrate to show for it) but he's hardly OP.

The box you get when your drag your mouse over something is box selecting. Previously, when box selecting ET it would select him and the spirit, even though the spirit wasn't summoned.

      Fixed a bug where players who clicked the "leave game" button after timing out would not properly be treated as abandoning the match.

      Pretty sure I got screwed out of 25 MMR yesterday because of this. Guy on my team disconnected during picks and went to play CS:GO, he never reconnected or got an abandon. We lost 4v5 and it counted the match, so I'll take that as something if I don't get fucking robbed again.

        actually it was broken because the fold was gone, so it stuck straight up instead of having a fold that gave the top halves a swept back appearance.

        The fix in haunted colosseum affects all spells which hide units, not only Phase Shift. The Pendulum no longer kills hidden units, but still can kill invulnerable ones.
